WEEK ONE: Review 06-20-16
(It seems this blogging business started in earnest on June 13th)
It was one week ago today and it all started with the commitment to post daily. What have I learned in the past week?
(1) Life will get in the way of your goals. It's an ugly reality which will have to be managed calmly.
(2) Like anything else, writing is work. But, I have to write to connect with people... to share my world... to build a community.
(3) Developing a productive SYSTEM is a must. Often, when I get things done under pressure, I'm working a system -- without even realizing it!
Whether I develop a rigid schedule or a procedural hierachy to follow probably doesn't matter. Without a SYSTEM, I suspect I'm just drifting.
(4) There's also FEAR. I don't always recognize that I'm dancing away from my goals because of complicated fears.

Good self-analysis. I'm a big supporter of systems and schedule. I rarely finish EVERYTHING on my daily to-do list, but without it, I don't get ANYTHING done!
